    Job Description

    • We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Operations to oversee the operational functions of our client's medical facility.
    • As the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations, optimizing processes, and enhancing the overall patient experience.
    • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the healthcare industry and hold a BSc degree.

    Responsibilities
    Operational Management:

    • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the medical facility.
    • Oversee daily operations, including appointment scheduling, patient flow, medical records management, and facility maintenance.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, healthcare guidelines, and industry best practices.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements to achieve operational targets and deliver high-quality patient care.

    Process Optimization:

      • Identify areas for process improvement and optimization to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including physicians, nurses, administrative staff, and IT professionals, to streamline workflows and implement standardized processes.
      • Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks, reduce waiting times, and improve resource utilization.
      • Implement technology solutions, such as electronic health records (EHR) systems and automated scheduling tools, to enhance operational efficiency.
      • Staff Management and Development:

        • Lead and manage a team of administrative and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
        • Ensure appropriate staffing levels, conducting workforce planning, and optimizing staff schedules to meet operational demands.
        • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
        • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills related to operations and customer service.

        Patient Experience:

Education + Experience

  • Qualifications

      • Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
      • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a medical facility or healthcare setting.
      • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
      • Proficiency in healthcare management software and systems, including electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling tools.
      • Proven experience in process optimization, workflow management, and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
      • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
