Accountant (Shipping & C&F)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with proven experience in shipping and clearing & forwarding (C&F) operations. The ideal candidate will handle financial transactions, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide accurate financial reporting related to logistics and supply chain activities.
Responsibilities
Manage financial records and transactions related to shipping and C&F operations.
Prepare and analyze budgets, invoices, and cost reports for logistics activities.
Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, customs duties, and other statutory requirements.
Collaborate with shipping and logistics teams to optimize cost control and efficiency.
Prepare periodic financial reports and assist with audits.
Education + Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting, specifically within shipping and C&F operations.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
