Junior Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Accounts Department. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Accounts to ensure accurate financial records and seamless operations.

Responsibilities

  • 1. Updating the ERP system with payables and receivables in a timely and accurate manner.  

    2. Reconciling intercompany accounts and ensuring all product line balances are accurately accounted for.  

    3. Assisting the Treasury Manager in reconciling clearing accounts as directed.  

    4. Posting receivables from high-net-worth clients into the ERP system.  

    5. Preparing monthly reports on outstanding balances of high-net-worth clients for audit purposes.  

    6. Supporting the Head of Accounts in preparing and disbursing employee salaries.  

    7. Maintaining organized records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.  

    8. Collaborating with other departments to resolve discrepancies and streamline financial processes. 

Education + Experience

  • - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.  

    - 0–2 years of relevant work experience (fresh graduates with strong potential are welcome).  

    - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (experience with ERP systems is an advantage).  

    - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  

    - Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.  

    - Ability to adapt, learn, and thrive in a dynamic industry environment.  

    - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 

     

    Salary Range: ₦100,000 – ₦120,000 (negotiable based on experience and qualifications).
