Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and safety-conscious Professional Driver to provide safe, punctual, and efficient transportation services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving assigned vehicles, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness, planning routes, and ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate professionalism, discretion, punctuality, and a strong commitment to road safety and responsible vehicle handling.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport the employer, passengers, or other authorised persons to designated destinations.
- Ensure timely arrival for appointments, meetings, errands, and other scheduled journeys.
- Plan routes efficiently and stay informed about traffic conditions and alternative routes within Abuja.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentable condition of the assigned vehicle, both inside and outside.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, including checks on tyres, brakes, lights, oil, coolant, and fuel levels.
- Monitor vehicle servicing schedules and promptly report mechanical faults, damage, or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure the vehicle has sufficient fuel for scheduled journeys.
- Comply with traffic regulations, speed limits, parking rules, and all applicable road safety requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling personal or business-related information.
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage, packages, or other items when required.
- Keep accurate records of journeys, fuel purchases, mileage, and vehicle expenses where necessary.
- Ensure that the vehicle's documents, insurance, and other required records are kept up to date in coordination with management.
- Report accidents, traffic incidents, delays, and other vehicle-related issues promptly.
- Carry out assigned driving-related errands and other reasonable duties as required.

Education + Experience

Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid Nigerian driver's licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
- Previous experience as a professional, personal, corporate, or executive driver is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Abuja roads, particularly Wuse 2 and surrounding areas.
- Demonstrable knowledge of defensive driving and road safety practices.
- Ability to use navigation applications such as Google Maps.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctual, honest, trustworthy, and responsible.
- Neat, well-presented, and professional in conduct.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.
- Physically fit to perform the duties associated with the role.
- No history of reckless driving or serious road safety violations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required, subject to agreed work arrangements.

Remuneration
- Salary: N130,000 - N150,000 monthly, depending on experience and suitability.
