Job Description

  • The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the sales department.
  • Their duties include hiring and training sales staff, relaying information from upper management to department staff about sales quotas and generating leads to divide among Sales Representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities
    Revenue Generation and Business Expansion:

    • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
    • Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities

    Strategic Sales Management:

    • Develop Business Plan and Sales Strategy, to achieve volume and revenue growth
    • Craft business proposals to attract and upsell clients
    • Expand Key Accounts Base and maintain good business relationship with their key decisionmakers like Purchasing Managers, General Managers and Partners.

    Market Intelligence:

    • Researching trends and gathering consumer & stakeholder insight to increase sales and support business decisions making.
    • Obtaining information about industry competition and trends with respect to new entrants, exited brands, competitors’ prices, competitors’ territorial strengths, competitors’ events, competitors’ programs and any other competition-related information.

    Marketing:

    • Coordinating with marketing on lead generation.
    • Overseeing local and regional sales, promotions and campaigns

    Sales Data Analytics and Reporting:

    • Tracking and analysing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics
    • Making data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation
    • Preparing sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures
    • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.

    Leadership and Management:

    • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
    • Developing your sales team through motivation, counselling, and product knowledge education.
    • Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
    • Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
    • Serving as the face of the organization to internal and external partners.

Education + Experience

  • Qualification and Requirements

    • Minimum of HND / B.Sc in a related field
    • Minimun of 2 years proven experience as a Sales and Marketing Manager
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer serviceskills
    • Excellent leadership and analytical skills
    • Proven records of success with the entire sales process from planning to closing
    • Experience with a fashion house is an added advantage
    • MUST reside in Lagos and proximity to Ikosi-Ketu.
