Job Summary
- The Relationship Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their investment goals and objectives, and providing tailored investment solutions to meet their needs.
- This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of financial markets and investment products.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their investment needs are met and providing exceptional customer service.
- Provide personalized investment advice to clients based on their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
- Stay informed about market trends, economic developments, and industry regulations to provide clients with accurate and timely investment advice.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients and achieve business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and portfolio performance using CRM software or other relevant systems.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by management.
- Actively manage client investment portfolios, making recommendations and adjustments as needed to optimize performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through networking, referrals, and other sales strategies.
- Present our asset management services to potential clients, effectively communicating the benefits and value proposition.
Education + Experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 - 10 years of proven experience as a Relationship Manager or similar role within the asset management industry.
- Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed investment decisions.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CFP, or CRM will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Valid certification from relevant regulatory bodies (SEC) is required.
- Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and wealth management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Salary
- Salary ranges from N375,000 - N575,000 Monthly (3 - 5 years experience)
- N576,000 - N875,000 Monthly(6 - 8 years experience)
- N876,000 - N1,000,000 Monthly Net (8 - 10 years experience).
