Job Summary

  • The Program Manager plays a pivotal role in guiding programs at Illmi Children's Fund, with a focus on communication and public relations initiatives. This position requires managing activities, articulating impact, and cultivating stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Main Duties and Responsibilities

    • Strategize and execute plans aligned with organizational goals.
    • Manage Program budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
    • Assess Program activities for effectiveness, making adjustments for optimal outcomes.
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy to amplify Illmi Children Fund's Programs and initiatives.
    • Act as the primary spokesperson, generating compelling content and fostering positive relationships with media outlets, influencers, sponsors, and stakeholders.
    • Deliver impactful presentations at conferences, events, and meetings to elevate the NGO's public profile.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners.
    • Lead and mentor Program officers for professional growth.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards.
    • Develop and manage Program strategies, goals, and objectives in line with the organization's mission and vision.
    • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the execution of various Program and projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
    • Collaborate with teams to identify Program requirements, allocate resources, and track progress.
    • Actively source grants to support Program initiatives.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on Program status, performance metrics, and financial considerations.
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

    • Program budgets and resources managed.
    • Stakeholder engagement levels and feedback.
    • Timely and accurate program reports.
    • Effective communication and media relations.

Education + Experience

  • Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • 3 - 10 years work experience.
    • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
    • Proficiency in using communication and media relations tools.
    • Willingness to travel as needed.
    • Commitment to the mission and values of Illmi Children's Fund.
    • Proven experience in program management, preferably in a non-profit or NGO setting.
    • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and resource allocation.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
    • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, especially in the non-profit sector.
    • Proficiency in grant sourcing and proposal writing.
    • Ability to analyze program effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments.

    Salary
    N120,000 - N150,000 monthly.
