Seven-Up Bottling Company Ltd is one of the largest manufacturing companies in Nigeria, producing and distributing some of the nation’s most- loved beverages in the country like; Pepsi, 7Up, Mirinda, Teem, Mountain Dew, H2oH!, Lipton Ice Tea and Aquafina premium drinking water. SBC has recently entered into Home & Personal Care category with the 2SURE brand and launched its first product, a Hand & Surface Sanitizer. Seven Up boasts of nine bottling plants with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities strategically located across various regions in the country.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: IT Core Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary
- The Core Infrastructure Engineer role helps to reduce infrastructure downtime and operational risks, ensure the resolution of VM and server-related issues, and timely execution of server administration and maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities

- Implement security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and system updates in line with IT security
- Support infrastructure projects, system deployments, migrations, and technology upgrades.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers on infrastructure-related incidents and technical escalations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server, VM, operating system, and infrastructure-related incidents.

- Manage server capacity, resource utilization, and infrastructure performance.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Maintain accurate system documentation, configurations, asset records, and technical procedures.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, SLAs, and operational procedures
- Manage and monitor backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes to ensure data availability.

- Administer and maintain Windows/Linux servers and virtual machines (VMs) to ensure availability,
- Monitor server, VM, storage, and system performance and proactively resolve issues.
- Perform server provisioning, configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance.
Education + Experience
Requirement
- Strong troubleshooting skills, Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, and virtualisation/VM environments.
- Understanding of networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, VPN).
- Experience with and strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft technologies managing user accounts in Active Directory
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, VMware, Linux, or equivalent IT certifications will be an advantage
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 3 – 5 years’ experience in system/server administration.
