- We are currently recruiting a Professional Chef with experience in cooking Continental and nationaldishes offshore
Responsibilities
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting high quality dishes within the speciality section
- Assisting the Head Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes.
- Managing and training Chefs.
- Monitoring portion and waste control
- Assisting with the management of health and safety
- Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
- Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
Education + Experience
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess an SSCE or B.Sc in any degree is required.
- 3 years of experience working as an offshore continental cook
- Proven work experience as a chef or cook
- Culinary certification is required.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to do multi-tasking
- Leadership skills
- Ability to read , write and speak English is required.
- Good communication skills
- Great time management skills
- Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques
- Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
- Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment
- Accomodation is available to any one who wants to relocate.
Salary
