Investment or Portfolio Analyst
Job Description
Our Client Company is a SEC-licensed Funds/Portfolio Manager. The company
currently manages several Collective-Investment Schemes and private fund portfolios. The portfolios are invested across diverse asset classes and the suitable candidate must have exposure managing different asset classes. The Right candidate for this role will provide investment coverage for all the existing and prospective portfolios to be managed.
Responsibilities
Principal duties & Responsibilities
1. Ensure compliance with strategic allocation and tactical allocation of portfolio assets in line with pre-set portfolio structure.
2. Make clear and evidenced investment recommendations for the investment
committee.
3. Conduct and continue due diligence on instruments that are part of or are intended for inclusion in fund portfolios.
4. Ensure execution of portfolio investment strategy
5. Monitor portfolio to ensure investment action triggers are implemented.
6. Monitor and report investment performance
7. Ensure portfolio compliance with all regulatory requirements
8. Ensure accuracy of daily portfolio valuation
9. Implementation of regulatory rules as pertain to fund portfolios under management
10. Work together with investment research teams to identify investment opportunities
11. Manage equity and bond portfolios with the aim of maximizing investment returns
12. Commensurate acceptable levels of risk based on client instructions.
13. Provide product consultation to clients and the sales team.

Qualifications
- At least a first degree in a numerate course, masters would be an added advantage
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CFA etc.
- SEC sponsored individual status will be an added advantage.
- At least 3 years Fund/Investment Management experience.
