We are seeking an exceptional educational leader to serve as the Head of School. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and guidance to the school staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the school staff
- Ensure all statutory records are maintained by teachers, including diaries, registers, and lesson notes
- Monitor and report on staff and pupil progress towards achieving the school's goals
- Coordinate, supervise, and write reports on all tests and examinations
- Prepare and ensure adherence to the school's academic timetable
- Monitor attendance and lesson adherence
- Prepare students for academic competitions
- Register students for external examinations
- Establish effective systems for student discipline, behavior management, and pastoral care
- Liaise with external bodies to promote the school's image and programs
- Work closely with heads of department to develop successful academic programs
- Supervise co-curricular and extracurricular activities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Education
- Minimum of 7 years teaching experience in a primary school setting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of primary education curricula, teaching methodologies, and assessment practices
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of current trends and challenges in primary education
- Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into the learning process
